Service Agreement

Please read this agreement carefully. It explains what we do, what we promise, and what to expect.

Our Promise to You

Trusted Tech Support is committed to providing honest, patient, and reliable technology assistance. This agreement outlines the terms of our service so there are no surprises.

1. Scope of Services

Trusted Tech Support provides the following residential technology services:

  • Remote computer help via phone or screen-sharing
  • On-site tech support at your home in Pinellas County
  • Software updates and installation
  • Basic security settings and antivirus configuration
  • Browser cleanup, organization, and bookmarks
  • Scam-awareness coaching and online safety education

2. Services We Do Not Provide

To be fully transparent, the following services are outside our scope:

  • Data backup or data recovery services
  • Electrical wiring or low-voltage work
  • Security camera or alarm system installation
  • Managed security monitoring
  • Penetration testing or advanced cybersecurity
  • Business or commercial IT services

3. Payment Terms

  • When to pay: Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
  • Accepted methods: We accept cash, check, and major credit/debit cards.
  • Estimates: We will always provide an estimated cost before beginning work. If additional time or work is needed, we will ask your permission first.
  • No hidden fees: You will never be charged for something that was not discussed and agreed upon beforehand.

4. Scheduling & Cancellations

  • Scheduling: Appointments are scheduled at a time that works for you. We will confirm your appointment by phone or email.
  • Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours notice. We understand things come up — there is no penalty for cancelling.
  • Late arrivals: If we are running late, we will call you to let you know and give you a new estimated arrival time.

5. Liability & Limitations

  • Best effort: We will do our best to resolve your issue. However, some problems may require additional visits, specialized repair, or may be beyond the scope of our services.
  • No guarantee of data: While we take great care with your devices, we are not responsible for data loss. We recommend having important files backed up before any service.
  • Hardware issues: If we discover a hardware problem during a software service, we will let you know and discuss options. We do not perform hardware repairs.
  • Third-party software: We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party software, manufacturer defects, or internet service provider outages.

6. Your Privacy

  • Your information is safe: We will never share, sell, or misuse your personal information.
  • Device access: We will only access the parts of your computer or device that are necessary to resolve your issue.
  • Confidentiality: Anything we see on your screen during a service session is treated as private and confidential.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction matters to us. If you are not happy with the service provided, please let us know within 7 days and we will make it right — whether that means returning for a follow-up visit at no additional charge or providing a partial refund for the service.
